Make48 Is Headed To Washington D.C.

By April 14, 2016General

This is it. The moment we’ve been all waiting for. This year’s Make48 competition will be June 10th-12th 2016 in Washington D.C.! It will be held at the Smithsonian’s Lemelson Center for the Study of Invention and Innovation at the National Museum of American History! We are extremely excited to have our event at a world renowned location. The Make48 team is ready to have another spectacular event at the Smithsonian this June.

Only 15 teams will be chosen for this special event. VIP’s, sponsors, and teams will all be hand selected for this ingenious, themed event.  Speakers from all around the United States will share their insight on inventing products, being entrepreneurs, and more. The competition theme will continue to be a secret, so if you want to know what it is, we suggest you submit your team today to come to the event! Like last year, teams will only have 48-hours to plan, prototype, and pitch an idea for prizes and licensing potential.

Shark Tank contestants like Aaron Krause, of Scrub Daddy, and Judy Edwards, of the Squatty Potty, will be also attending this year. With nationally known names and brands coming to Make48, it is not only an invention competition, but a networking event as well. Teams will get to meet inspiring entrepreneurs that have been in their shoes before, and share their journeys with them.

We hope you submit your team for this amazing event in Washington D.C this June! If you have any questions, please contact us.
