RE: ART | AN ENGLEWOOD ARTS PROJECT

It’s Englewood’s first street festival of arts—art made using repurposed materials. Presented by Englewood Arts and benefiting The Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity and ReStore, Re: ART is a unique expression of our community-wide commitment to arts and preservation of the neighborhood.

Are you an artist that utilizes repurposed materials? Found objects, paper, reused canvas, etc.? Then, this call is for you!

The project is looking for over 40 artists and makers that incorporate recycled materials into their art to exhibit their work in this first of its kind festival.

Deadline is July 17th to apply, so don't miss it!

About Englewood Arts: Fifteen minutes from downtown Kansas City, is a four-block stretch of Winner Road and the heart of the Englewood Station Arts District. Only minutes away from the historic Independence Square and treasured Truman Library, the re-birth of Englewood Station is poised to serve as an unprecedented economic engine and will fulfill an ever-larger vision for the Independence and metropolitan areas.
